Disclosure: SpicySwingers publishes this blog and is one of the three platforms below. We've kept the other two factual and, where they're genuinely stronger than us, said so.
Age and scale
FabSwingers launched in 2006 and has the largest active UK membership of the three. Swinging Heaven is older still, running since 2002, with a smaller but long-established base and a strong forum culture. SpicySwingers is the newest, built specifically for how people use lifestyle sites in 2026, with a growing membership that's smaller than either legacy platform for now.
Verification
This is where the three diverge most. FabSwingers has no mandatory identity or video verification at signup; trust builds through optional community photo-verification over time. Swinging Heaven's verification varies by account era and isn't built around video ID checks either. SpicySwingers requires video verification for its badge, plus AI-assisted screening and post-meet user verification. If verification is your priority, SpicySwingers is built around it as a starting requirement rather than an optional extra.
Price
FabSwingers is free with advertising, with optional one-off Silver or Gold supporter tiers around £5 to £12.50 for limited periods rather than a recurring subscription. Swinging Heaven runs a freemium model with meaningful features gated behind roughly £7 a month. SpicySwingers is free with every feature unlocked during its launch period, moving to a paid tier later.
App and mobile experience
Neither FabSwingers nor Swinging Heaven has a native app; both rely on mobile browser versions that reviewers consistently describe as dated and cramped on smaller screens. SpicySwingers was built mobile-first with swipe matching, video calls and a modern interface designed for how people actually browse today.
Community depth
Here the legacy platforms have the edge. FabSwingers' forums and chat rooms carry the highest volume in the UK scene. Swinging Heaven's forums and story archive run over two decades deep. SpicySwingers has live chat rooms with full forums on the roadmap; the community is real but younger and thinner than either legacy site's.
Who each one suits
FabSwingers: couples who want the largest possible local pool and don't mind a dated interface. Swinging Heaven: people who value forum culture and are willing to pay for full access. SpicySwingers: couples who want a modern, verified experience and are comfortable with a smaller but growing membership.
The practical answer
Most active UK couples don't pick one. A free FabSwingers profile for reach, a free SpicySwingers profile for the modern experience and stronger verification, with Swinging Heaven added if forum culture matters to you specifically. All three cost nothing to try.
SpicySwingers is free during launch with video verification built in from day one. Create your free profile.
